Step 1: Open Settings
Step 2: Disable Start Menu Ads

Under Personalization, select Start.

In the Start settings, find the Layout option and select More Pins.

Turn off the following options:

Show recently added apps

Show most used apps

Show recommended files in Start, recent files in File Explorer, and items in Jump Lists

Show recommendations for tips, shortcuts, new apps, and more

Show account-related notifications
Step 3: Disable Personalized Ads and Recommendations

Go back to the Personalization tab and select Device Usage.

Turn off all options to stop personalized tips, ads, and recommendations.
Step 4: Disable Privacy-Related Ads
Step 5: Disable Ads in Taskbar and Lock Screen

In Personalization, select Taskbar and turn off Widgets.

In Personalization, select Lock Screen.

Under Lock Screen Status, select None.
Step 6: Turn Off Data Sharing for Ads
